A: For a typical 3-bedroom home, peak simultaneous load is often 5000-7000W. HH8000 can run: 3P AC (3000W) + water heater (2000W) + fridge (200W) + microwave (1200W) + lighting (300W) = 6700W. For large motor startup, stagger usage.
Q2: Does the generator come with a battery for electric start?
A: No, battery is not included. The unit has pre-installed battery terminals and a charging circuit. Users need to provide a 12V / 18Ah+ maintenance-free battery or purchase an official battery kit. Recoil start works without any battery.
Q3: Is 96dB noise acceptable in residential areas?
A: 96dB measured at 7m under full load (similar to a large lawn mower). For residential use, we recommend daytime emergency use only, or add an acoustic enclosure / extended exhaust pipe. At 50% load (≈3500W), noise drops to ~88dB – still noticeable, better suited for job sites or detached properties.
Q4: What fluids are needed before first use and how much?
A: Fill with 92+ octane gasoline and 4-stroke engine oil (SAE 10W-30 or 15W-40). Oil capacity is approx. 1.2L. Never start without oil – engine damage will occur.
Q5: What is the maintenance schedule?
A: First oil change at 20 hours. Then every 100 hours – change oil and clean air filter. Inspect spark plug and clean carbon every 200 hours. Check valve clearance every 500 hours.
Q6: Can two HH8000 units be paralleled for 14000W?
A: No, this model does not support parallel operation. For higher power, consider the DGH17000E or DGH23000E series (3-phase/single-phase).
Q7: What is the warranty policy?
A: 1 year for non-commercial use (90 days for commercial use) on the whole unit; 2 years on the engine block. Wear parts (spark plug, filters, recoil rope, switches) are not covered.
Q8: Is the output pure sine wave?
A: Yes, with AVR regulation, the output is near pure sine wave with total harmonic distortion (THD) <5%, safe for computers, inverter ACs, LED TVs, and other sensitive electronics.
